How rates are estimated
The estimate starts from a UK 2026 market baseline of GBP per 1,000 followers, fixed per platform: Instagram roughly £10, TikTok £8, YouTube £20, LinkedIn £15, Facebook £6 and X £5. That base rate is then adjusted by three multipliers. Content format shifts it first — a Story is priced at half the baseline, a Reel or short video at 1.3×, a carousel at 1.2×, and a long video at 2×, reflecting how much more time and reach each format typically commands.
Your engagement rate is checked next: below 1% pulls the estimate down to 0.7× the baseline, 1–3% is treated as average at 1×, 3–6% lifts it to 1.4×, and above 6% pushes it up to 1.8×, since brands pay for an audience that reacts, not just one that exists. Finally, niche applies a premium or discount — finance & B2B carries the strongest multiplier at 1.5×, while beauty & fashion, fitness, gaming, food & travel and general content sit between 0.9× and 1.15×, reflecting typical UK brand budgets in each category. The final range is shown at ±20% around that combined figure, since real rates always leave room for negotiation.
Every rate and multiplier is hardcoded in the page's code — nothing is fetched from a server, and no data you enter ever leaves your browser. For the platform-specific detail behind these ranges, see our guide on how much Instagram pays.

Frequently asked questions
What rates should I charge as an influencer?
There's no single number — your rate should reflect your platform, follower tier, engagement rate, content format and niche, not just your follower count. As a UK 2026 starting point, nano creators (under 10,000 followers) typically charge £50–£250 per feed post, micro creators (10,000–100,000) £250–£1,500, mid-tier creators (100,000–500,000) £1,500–£5,000, and macro creators (500,000+) £5,000–£20,000 or more. Use the calculator above to get a range tailored to your own numbers, then adjust upward if your engagement is strong or you work in a premium niche like finance.
How much does an influencer with 1,000,000 followers make per sponsored post?
A UK creator with 1 million followers sits in the macro tier, where a single sponsored post commands roughly £5,000–£20,000 or more, depending on platform, content format, niche and engagement rate. Video formats — YouTube long-form or an Instagram/TikTok Reel — usually price above a standard feed post, and a finance or B2B niche can push well past this range. This is separate from platform ad-revenue programmes, which typically pay far less per view than a single sponsored post is worth.
What are typical influencer rates in 2026?
This calculator runs on UK 2026 market baselines of roughly £10 per 1,000 followers for Instagram, £8 for TikTok, £20 for YouTube, £15 for LinkedIn, £6 for Facebook and £5 for X, for a standard feed-style post at average engagement. From there, rates move with content format (a Reel or long video prices higher than a Story), engagement rate (above 6% can nearly double the baseline) and niche (finance & B2B commands the strongest premium).
How much is 10,000 followers worth per post?
At 10,000 followers — the boundary between nano and micro tiers — a standard Instagram feed post with average engagement and a general niche is typically worth roughly £80–£120 using this calculator's baseline. That number moves platform to platform (TikTok's baseline lands a little lower, YouTube's meaningfully higher) and rises with stronger engagement, a premium niche, or a higher-value format like a Reel.
